Understanding user accounts and authentication
Users are individuals who authenticate and interact with the Natural platform. Each user is associated with a party membership that links the user to one or more Parties. A user can authenticate through Google OAuth, Email/Password + 2FA, phone number + OTP, or SAML SSO (coming soon).
User permissions
Users can have different permission levels over a Party:
- Owner — Full control (manage users, agents, payments)
- Admin — Manage operations (create agents, send payments)
- Viewer — Read-only access to transactions
